I programmed in COBOL for 15 years but it has been many years. I’ve always thought programming in COBOL was like riding a bike. I think the development tools are probably the biggest challenge. I plan on taking part of the IBM training course if it is still available. I just saw it.
I also worked with NonStop SQL (both static and dynamic).
I switched careers 11 years ago but I would really like to get back into COBOL programming. I thought it was gone! I still create Websites with some programming as part of my business.
