The situation: A client of mine is about to offer a collaboration platform within the public sector. The need and business case has a COVED-19 background. The platform addresses a video conferencing system, groupware, Filesharing, WebOffice, etc. The solution built on those components is for schools (students, teachers, parents, …). The conferencing system (jitsi) and messaging (Matrix) is running on the Mainframe the other components are running on x86.
The client is asking whether we have experience with similar solutions (collaboration platform on System Z). Any tips, hints, … ?
