- Link to LinkedIn profile (or other relevant job experience information): This team of 5 has worked together for 10 years. We created new Cobol/DB2/MQ applications from scratch that now process over 25 million transactions/day. We research, debug, fix code for critical production issues which included adding over 15 million transactions to our production regions. This caused production to slow to snails pace. We diagnosed, designed and made the architecture and coding changes quickly and correct the first time. We are cool under pressure and have a work ethic like no other.
We can go into any application and understand the architecture, apply fixes, redesign existing functions and solution new functionality that sits nicely into the existing architecture. As a team, we are uniquely fitted to join a group already knowing each other’s skillsets, work ethic and have great team chemistry. Our designs are predicated on efficiency to reduce processing time saving MIPS. We produce high quality code in a timely manner. We’re highly skilled in debugging techniques, which results in defect-free solutions. This expedites development and deployment by getting it right the first time. As far as code delivery, we’ve worked under both “Waterfall” and “Agile” methodologies.
The below covers just a small portion of our skillsets:
CICS Cobol/DB2 and VSAM Batch Cobol/DB2 and VSAM MQSeries for CICS/Batch
CICS Web Services Endevor/Change man XPED, File aid, SPUFI, Icetool, QMF and JCL
Integration with non-MVS platforms via MQ and/or Web Services
Formats: JSON, XML, X12.
