I had 15+ years experience of Mainframe COBOL programmer.

Mainframe COBOL programmers, nowadays, are forced to adopt with market demands and need to evolve. For sure, I’m one them.

Just a thought:
If you are mainframe COBOL programmer, you usually don’t say you know MVS, TSO, JCL, VSAM, QSAM, etc. Why? It is given that a mainframe COBOL programmer should know these. These are esseentials to run batches (unless the batch uses pure DB2 or IMS).
CICS (maiframe UI) and DB2 are great ways to expose mainframe applications to non-mainframe platform(eg. web based apps).
