I have posted my non-programming experience to show that I am not a Computer Geek but also have business experience which makes it easier to communicate with users.
It has been very useful in designing software systems.
My ability to read programs written by others, even if it is spaghetti code, and find errors is why I reached the level of Senior Programmer in less than a year after moving to the Programming Dept.
